Meet Hari das - founder of CloudCalm

Certified 500hr Yoga Teacher, Yoga Nidra + Meditation Specialist, based in New York City.

My name is Harold “Hari Das” Hidalgo, and I am the founder of CloudCalm Yoga. I was born in San Salvador, El Salvador and raised in the Bronx, and my journey into wellness began long before I ever stepped onto a yoga mat. A childhood spinal injury and a life-threatening event at age fifteen pushed me to search for a way to heal my body and calm my mind without relying on surgery or medication.

In 2010, I discovered yoga, and it completely transformed my life. Through traditional Vedic philosophy, breathwork, and mindful movement, I rebuilt my strength, restored my nervous system, and deepened my connection to nature and the universe. That experience inspired me to dedicate my life to teaching and helping others find balance, clarity, and inner peace.

My classes integrate Vedic teachings with the calm, expansive energy of the ocean—a place that continually reminds me of serenity, intelligence, and presence. Students often tell me they leave feeling deeply relaxed, grounded, and mentally refreshed. Even therapists join my sessions to support their own mental hygiene and well-being.

With CloudCalm Yoga, my mission is to make these practices accessible, authentic, and supportive for anyone seeking to reconnect with themselves. My long-term vision is to grow CloudCalm into a wellness and performance brand that collaborates with leaders in the sports and lifestyle industries to promote mindful movement, recovery, and holistic health.

I’m committed to helping people feel whole again—physically, mentally, and spiritually—while continuing to explore the world, learn from nature, and live with purpose.
